Interim Grants Administrator
Matthew Fowle is the interim grants administrator at the Raikes Foundation, having joined the organization as an intern in 2016. He recently completed a master’s degree in public administration at the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. During his time at UW, he worked for the Evans Policy Analysis and Research Group, conducting research on behalf of the Gates Foundation on women’s empowerment, global agricultural investment, and digital financial services for the poor.
In addition to his experiences with OneAmerica and the League of Women Voters, he has served with Warrington Borough Council as Assistant Policy Officer and as Green Chester Project Manager for the University of Chester’s Sustainability Unit in the United Kingdom.
Matthew received his bachelor’s degree in politics and law from the University of Chester and his master’s degree in evidence-based social intervention and policy evaluation from the University of Oxford, where his research focused on the evaluation social programs to increase school attendance.
